If I can't get a typical tire installed to work 215's on the 8, I'll bump up to 225 width. Don't roll the front fenders. question what is stretching a tire i googled it and i still dont really get what to point of it is? I would fender roll but i like the stretch look (in moderation) Anybody do this with their e36?

Just got a set of style 42's and am looking to stretch the tires a fair amount for the lip sits about 3 cm or more out of the fender. A forum community dedicated to BMW owners and enthusiasts. It's basically a 215 tread width on a 225 tire. Sorry guys - I know some are against stretching but its totally necessary in order to dial in the drop I want. Would a 215/40 or 215/45 be best and if so does anyone have any pics of how these stretched tires would look?
